Smart home options for Schueco uPVC windows and doors
Three Schueco options connect our windows and doors to a home's smart system: a wireless window sensor with a built-in alarm, Bluetooth access for entrance doors, and fingerprint entry. Each has to be specified before fabrication, so it belongs in the window schedule, not the handover list.
Windows
Schueco wireless window sensor
A small radio sensor fitted into the frame rebate. It reports whether the window is open or closed through a magnetic contact in the corner drive or locking bar, and it's invisible once the window is shut.
- Matter compatible. Based on Matter and the Thread network protocol, so it can join Matter-compatible smart home platforms.
- Built-in alarm. An acceleration sensor picks up attempts to force the window, and the sensor sounds a loud tone on the spot.
- Battery powered. Two AAA batteries, no mains connection. Schueco says they last several months, depending on how many border routers it is paired with.
- Systems. Works with Schueco CT 70 windows and EasySlide lift and slide doors. SoftSlide isn't listed as compatible.
Because the sensor sits in the hardware, it's fitted when we make the window. Mark which openings need one in your schedule, for example every ground-floor opening, or just the windows a security consultant has flagged.
Entrance doors
BlueCon i Bluetooth door access
BlueCon i is Schueco's Bluetooth unit for entrance doors. The homeowner opens the door from an app on their phone, or lets the auto-unlock function open it as they approach with the phone in a pocket.
- Fitted in CT 70 entrance doors with an electric lock or an automatic swing bolt lock
- Access rights can be permanent, recurring or time-limited, for family, cleaners or tradespeople, with an activity log
- Double AES 256-bit encryption
- Bluetooth 4.2 LE, range 5–10 m depending on the building
- Power 12–24 V DC, standby under 1 mW, operating range –20 °C to +40 °C, IP 20
The unit needs a low-voltage supply at the door, so the electrician has to run cabling before linings go up. We'll tell you where the supply needs to come in once the door is specified.
Fingerprint entry
Schueco MultiTec door hardware can open an entrance door by fingerprint scan, combined with a motorised lock. MultiTec locks go up to 5-point locking, and CT 70 entrance doors reach RC 2 burglar resistance with the right hardware. As with BlueCon i, the motorised lock needs power at the door.

Questions from builders and architects
Which windows does the Schueco wireless sensor fit?
Schueco lists it as compatible with CT 70 and EasySlide among the systems we supply. SoftSlide is not on Schueco's compatibility list, so we don't offer the sensor on SoftSlide sliding windows or doors.
Does the window sensor need wiring?
No. It runs on two AAA batteries, which Schueco says last several months depending on the number of paired border routers. It sits in the frame rebate and is hidden when the window is closed.
What smart home systems does the sensor work with?
It is based on Matter and uses the Thread network protocol, so it works with Matter-compatible smart home platforms. Check that the homeowner's system supports Matter over Thread.
What does BlueCon i need on site?
BlueCon i is fitted in CT 70 entrance doors with an electric lock or an automatic swing bolt lock, and runs on 12–24 V DC. Plan the power supply with the electrician before the door goes in.
Can an entrance door open by fingerprint?
Yes. Schueco MultiTec door hardware offers a fingerprint scanner for keyless opening, combined with a motorised lock. Tell us at quote stage, since it changes the lock and needs power at the door.
