uPVC windows supplier in Parramatta
Parramatta is where Sydney's second CBD is going up: apartment towers, mixed-use blocks and infill townhouses along rail, light rail and some of the busiest roads in the city. We supply Schueco uPVC windows and doors to builders and developers across the City of Parramatta and Cumberland.
Councils and what's being built
Two councils cover the area. The City of Parramatta takes in the CBD, Westmead, Harris Park, North Parramatta, Epping, Carlingford, Ermington and Sydney Olympic Park. Cumberland City Council, formed in 2016, covers Merrylands, Granville south of the railway, Auburn, Lidcombe, Wentworthville, Guildford and Pemulwuy.
Transport is driving the density. Parramatta Light Rail Stage 1 opened on 20 December 2024 between Westmead and Carlingford through the CBD, and Sydney Metro West, now under construction, is targeting 2032 with stations at Westmead and Parramatta. Around these corridors the work is apartments, build-to-rent and mixed-use towers, with townhouses and dual occupancies further out.
Parramatta also has some of the oldest colonial buildings in Australia, from Old Government House to Elizabeth Farm and Experiment Farm Cottage. Alterations near heritage items often face controls on window proportions and colour; CT 70 with Classic or Rondo sashes, glazing bars and woodgrain foils gives you room to meet them.

What changes on taller buildings
Wind load and size limits
Schueco publishes CT 70 sash limits per wind load class, and the maximum sizes shrink as the class goes up. A reinforced tilt and turn sash with bonded glazing reaches 2400 mm high at the B5 class. Send the wind classification with the schedule and we'll flag any opening that needs a mullion or a different layout.
Fall protection
Low-sill and floor-to-ceiling openable windows on upper floors can need a barrier or a restricted opening under the NCC. Schueco glass barriers (10–16 mm glass) and bar barriers mount directly on CT 70 profiles. Check each opening with your certifier.
Acoustics
Sites near Parramatta Road, the M4 or the rail lines usually need an acoustic report. The SEPP limits are 35 dB(A) in bedrooms at night and 40 dB(A) elsewhere. CT 70 reaches Rw 47 dB tested with acoustic glass, EasySlide up to Rw 43 dB.

Supply
From St Marys, along the M4
We deliver from St Marys to Parramatta and Cumberland sites, and to your yard if the site can't take a delivery. For apartment jobs, tell us about crane or hoist access and staging by floor when you order, and we'll plan deliveries around it. Architects can get section drawings, Uf tables and WERS data for BASIX from our downloads or on request, and AS 2047 test reports are available on request.

FAQ
Questions from builders and architects
Do you supply apartment projects in Parramatta?
Yes. We supply Schueco CT 70 windows and SoftSlide and EasySlide doors for multi-residential work. Send the window schedule with the building height and wind classification and we'll check every opening against Schueco's size tables.
Can CT 70 windows take fall protection?
Yes. Schueco glass barriers (10–16 mm glass) and bar barriers fit directly on CT 70. They're tested to German standards, so check the NCC requirements for each opening with your certifier.
Which noise limits apply near Parramatta Road or the M4?
For homes beside freeways, tollways and roads carrying more than 20,000 vehicles a day or near rail corridors, the Transport and Infrastructure SEPP sets 35 dB(A) in bedrooms at night and 40 dB(A) in other habitable rooms. Your acoustic report sets the glazing per facade.
Is Parramatta affected by the new airport?
Forecasts published with the airport's draft environmental impact statement in 2023 expect some Western Sydney International flights over Parramatta, at levels well below 70 dB. Check specific addresses on the WSI flight path tool.
