Specifying Schueco uPVC windows and doors
Section drawings, frame U-values, WERS data, maximum sizes and finishes for Schueco CT 70, SoftSlide and EasySlide. Send us the drawings at design stage and we'll check sizes, glass and opening types before the specification is fixed.

Sight lines and contours
CT 70 has three sash contours. Classic is square-edged. Rondo has a rounded, stepped sash, 78 mm deep. Vision uses an 80 mm deep sash with a 71 mm face. Face widths from Schueco's section catalogue:
- Classic frame 70/68 + sash 70/83, inward opening: 120 mm
- Frame 70/59 + sash 70/71: 99 mm
- Fixed glazing in frame 70/68: 68 mm
- T-mullion 70/91 with a sash: 143 mm
- With TopAlu cladding, standard combination: 122.8 mm face, 73.7 mm depth
- Entrance door, frame 70/78 + sash 70/120: 167 mm
Maximum sizes
Schueco publishes size tables by wind load class, reinforcement, glazing method and colour. The headline limits:
- CT 70 tilt and turn sash: up to 2400 mm high, 90 kg (reinforced, bonded glazing)
- CT 70 French door sash: up to 1350 mm wide or 2600 mm high, not both at once
- CT 70 entrance door: sash 700–1100 × 2300 mm, 100 kg
- SoftSlide sash: up to 1750 × 2200 mm, 100 kg; unit up to 14 m² in white
- EasySlide vent: up to 3225 × 2450 mm, 300 kg
Foiled CT 70 profiles are always reinforced and have lower area limits than white. If a design depends on a large sash, send it to us before it goes into the drawings.

WERS data for the assessor
Our products are rated in WERS under Sustainable Windows with AGG glass. Uw runs from 0.9 (fixed, triple glazed) to 2.5, SHGC from 0.12 to 0.62. We send the rating IDs that match the glass you specify, for BASIX or NatHERS.
Finishes
White, 300+ foils or TopAlu

Specify CT 70 now; Perfect is coming
CT 70 is the system we make today. Schueco Perfect is a modular system built on Schueco's LivIng platform that integrates sun shading, flyscreens, fall protection and thresholds with the window. We don't import it yet, so don't write it into a specification for a current project. Register interest if you'd like to hear when it arrives.

FAQ
Questions from builders and architects
Do you have CAD details or BIM objects?
Ask us. Tell us which software and which opening types you need, and we'll send what we can source from Schueco for your project. Dimensioned section drawings for CT 70 are on our downloads page.
What face width should I draw for a CT 70 window?
The standard Classic frame and inward-opening sash measure 120 mm combined, with a 70 mm depth. A slimmer frame and sash combination measures 99 mm, and fixed glazing in the frame shows 68 mm. TopAlu aluminium cladding adds a little: 122.8 mm face and 73.7 mm depth on the standard combination.
Can you check window sizes before the drawings go to tender?
Yes. Send the elevations or window schedule and we'll check each opening against Schueco's size and weight tables for the sash type, reinforcement, glass and colour, and flag anything that needs a mullion, a different opening type or a lighter glass unit.
Can the inside and outside be different colours?
Yes. Schueco foils can be different inside and out, so you can have white inside and a woodgrain or dark colour outside. TopAlu aluminium cladding in any RAL colour is available on CT 70 and EasySlide, but not on SoftSlide.
How do I specify acoustic performance?
Specify the required Rw or Rw + Ctr per room or facade, as set by the acoustic consultant. CT 70 windows are tested to Rw 47 dB (Ctr −3), and we match the glass unit to the target for each opening.
Which Schueco system should I write into the specification?
Schueco Corona CT 70 for windows, French doors and entrance doors; Schueco SoftSlide for sliding and stacking doors and sliding windows; Schueco EasySlide for lift and slide doors. Schueco Perfect isn't available in Australia yet.
