Schueco uPVC entrance doors
Front and side entrance doors on the Schueco CT 70 profile, reinforced all round. RC 2 security, multi-point locking up to five points, a 20 mm threshold and keyless entry options.
How the CT 70 entrance door is built
The door uses a 70 mm CT 70 frame (70/78) and a heavy 70/120 sash, for a combined face width of 167 mm. Schueco requires the frame and sash of entrance doors to be steel reinforced all round, which is what allows leaves of up to 100 kg.
The infill can be glass, an inset panel, or a panel that covers the sash on one or both faces for a flush look. Frames can take sidelights and a toplight, and double-leaf doors suit wide entries.

- Keyless entry. Fingerprint reader with a motorised lock, or BlueCon i Bluetooth access from a smartphone.
- Sound. Up to Rw 38 dB for entries on busy streets.

- Matches the windows. Same CT 70 profile, foils and TopAlu cladding as the windows on the house.
Things to plan for
Decide on the lock early. Fingerprint and BlueCon i both need a motorised or electric lock and a power supply run to the door frame, so the electrician needs it on their plan. Emergency-exit handles to EN 179 are available where the door is on an egress path. Check the NCC for accessible entry and egress requirements on each project.

Layouts, locks and access
Layouts
Single door, door with one or two sidelights, door with toplight, or a double-leaf entrance with sidelights and toplight. Side entrance doors for laundries and garages are made on the same system.
Locks
3, 4 or 5-point MultiTec locks: swing-bolt (RC 2 tested), mechanically self-locking, or motorised. Security handle sets lift the door to RC 2.
Keyless access
A fingerprint reader works with the motorised lock. BlueCon i adds smartphone access with time-limited access for trades or guests and an activity log.

What size can a CT 70 entrance door be?
A single door sash can be 700 to 1100 mm wide and up to 2300 mm high in white (2200 mm foiled), with up to 100 kg. Double doors take leaves from 700 to 1000 mm wide at the same heights. Sidelights and a toplight can be added to the frame.
What locks are available?
Schueco MultiTec door hardware with 3, 4 or 5-point locking. Options include an RC 2 tested swing-bolt lock, a mechanically self-locking lock that engages as the door closes, and motorised locks. With a motorised lock you can add a fingerprint reader or Schueco BlueCon i Bluetooth access.
How does BlueCon i work?
BlueCon i is a Bluetooth unit built into CT 70 entrance doors with an electric lock or automatic swing-bolt lock. The door unlocks from a smartphone app, or automatically as the phone approaches. Access can be permanent, recurring or time-limited, there's an activity log, and the connection uses double AES 256-bit encryption.
Is the CT 70 entrance door WERS rated?

Can the door open outward?
Yes. CT 70 entrance doors are made inward or outward opening. Tell us the swing for each door when you send the schedule.
What threshold does the entrance door have?
A 20 mm threshold that Schueco designs to the German barrier-free standard DIN 18040, and RC 2 is still possible with it. Check accessible entry requirements under the NCC for your project.
