Performance of Schueco uPVC windows and doors

Energy, sound, security and material data for the products we make on Schueco profiles. Each figure on these pages comes from a Schueco document, a WERS rating or a test report, and the source is named next to it.

Key figures by product

Uf is the frame alone, from Schueco's tables. Uw and air infiltration are whole-window values from our WERS ratings. A dash means the figure isn't published.

Sources: Schueco CT 70, SoftSlide and EasySlide technical documents; WERS (werslink.com.au), manufacturer "Sustainable Windows", AGG glass, checked 1 October 2026. Sound figures depend on the glass unit. RC 2 needs safety glass. EasySlide has no WERS ratings yet. The 47 dB figure comes from a tested CT 70 tilt and turn window; for other opening types we confirm the sound value per project.

Wind and water

AS 2047 and site wind ratings

WERS covers energy only. Wind pressure and water penetration ratings for Australian windows come from AS 2047 testing, and the rating a job needs depends on its wind classification.

We provide AS 2047 test reports on request. Put the site wind classification on your schedule and we'll check each opening against it, along with Schueco's maximum size tables for the sash type and reinforcement.

Glazing

The glass unit decides most of it

Frame data stays fixed. The glass unit is what moves Uw, SHGC, sound insulation and security from one window to the next. CT 70 takes glass units from 4 to 42 mm, enough for triple glazing or thick acoustic laminates.

When you send a schedule, tell us the energy rating, acoustic target and safety glass requirements per opening. We'll specify the glass unit for each and give you the matching WERS rating.

FAQ

Questions from builders and architects

Where do your performance figures come from?

System figures (Uf, Rw, RC class, sizes) come from Schueco's own technical documents. Whole-window energy figures (Uw, SHGC, air infiltration) come from our WERS ratings, listed under the manufacturer name Sustainable Windows with AGG glass. Wind and water ratings come from AS 2047 test reports, which we supply on request.

Is the Uw value the same for every window?

No. Uw depends on the glass unit, the frame combination and the window size. Our WERS ratings for CT 70 products run from Uw 0.9 to 2.5 W/(m²K). Your energy assessor picks the rating that matches the glass and opening type in your schedule.

Which product has the best sound insulation?

CT 70 windows, tested at up to Rw 47 dB with acoustic laminated glass. EasySlide lift and slide doors reach up to Rw 43 dB and CT 70 entrance doors up to Rw 38 dB. Schueco doesn't publish a sound rating for SoftSlide sliding doors.

Do the windows meet AS 2047?

We supply AS 2047 test reports on request. The wind and water rating required depends on the site, so send us the wind classification with your schedule and we'll check each opening.

Can I get the performance data for a tender?

Yes. WERS rating lists, Schueco Uf tables, the acoustic test overview and AS 2047 reports are all available. Request them on the downloads page or through a trade enquiry.
