The whole area is one council, Sutherland Shire Council, covering suburbs from Sylvania, Kirrawee, Miranda and Caringbah to Cronulla, Kurnell, Engadine, Menai, Heathcote and Bundeena. It's bounded by the Georges River and Botany Bay to the north, the ocean to the east and Port Hacking and the Royal National Park to the south.
Housing is mostly detached homes on older, generous blocks, which makes the Shire a busy market for knock-down rebuilds and dual occupancies. Apartments concentrate around Cronulla, Miranda and Sutherland, along the T4 line and its Cronulla branch. The NSW low and mid-rise housing policy, in force since February 2025, also opens residential land near nominated stations and centres to terraces, townhouses and small apartment buildings.

Ask us first. On bush fire prone land the BAL is assessed for each site and sets the construction requirements for windows and doors. Send the BAL assessment and we'll tell you what we can supply for that level; we don't make general BAL claims.
Are uPVC windows a good fit for waterfront homes in Cronulla or Sylvania?
The frames are: uPVC doesn't corrode or need repainting, and CT 70's steel reinforcement is corrosion-protected inside the profile. On front-row sites, talk to us about hardware and the wind classification for the most exposed elevations.
